Andong Youth Company Wins Consecutive Contracts for International-Scale Athletics Information Systems
DJ Family, developer of the integrated information system for the 2025 Gumi Asian Athletics Championships, previously built the information system for the Yecheon Asian U20 Athletics Championships held last June.
Founded in 2015 as a one-person company, DJ Family has grown into a six-member IT firm composed entirely of young professionals in their 20s and 30s, all from Andong and the wider Gyeongbuk region (except for one member from Mungyeong). The company is being recognized as a model case for addressing local population decline and the outflow of regional talent.
DJ Family announced on the 15th that it won the contract for the Integrated Information System Development Project for the 2025 Gumi Asian Athletics Championships, scheduled for May 27–31, 2025.
The championship will host over 1,200 athletes from 45 Asian countries, competing across 45 track and field events. The system built by DJ Family will automate and centrally manage all competition-related information, ensuring systematic and integrated event operations.
Two core systems will be established:
Competition Operation System: manpower management, performance tracking, ranking/statistics management, and integration with necessary competition equipment.
Operational Environment: management of the information processing room, TIC & CID, and AD card issuance/management.
This setup will allow competition information to be delivered quickly and accurately to both on-site scoreboards and online platforms.
DJ Family also contributed to the successful operation of the Yecheon Asian U20 Athletics Championships in June 2023 by developing its athletics information system.
