Previously, SportsXOS was used as a system delivered for specific competitions.
However, for the Gumi Asian Athletics Championships, a productized version of the system—refined from the program validated at the 20th Yecheon Asian U20 Athletics Championships—was applied.

Q. How did you prepare for the 2025 Gumi Asian Athletics Championships?
We first analyzed the limitations of the existing system and then completely redesigned it with the e-Government Framework + Vue 3-based new architecture.

Next, we carried out repeated tests and verifications at multiple domestic pre-tournaments under the same conditions as the actual operating environment.

This allowed us to refine key functions such as record input, heat assignment, record sheet printing, and website integration, ensuring the system could respond flexibly to various scenarios that might occur during actual events.

In particular, we simulated international-level concurrent user access and focused on maintaining data integrity and processing speed.

Q. Were there any challenges in completely overhauling the SportsXOS system?
The biggest challenge was building a secure server.

To pass the National Intelligence Service’s highest-level penetration testing (top-tier security audit), we had to repeat multi-stage security inspections and continuous system structure reinforcement.

As a result, the system was able to safely prevent data tampering even during actual hacking attempts, and with a real-time monitoring framework in place, it ensured stable operation throughout the entire competition period.
