The software development company ‘DJ Family’ (CEO Jeong Jin-ho) in Andong, where young people achieve their dreams together, successfully operated the 2025 Gumi Asian Athletics Championships Integrated Information System Construction Project that it had won. This company took charge of the construction and operation of the integrated information system for the 2025 Gumi Asian Athletics Championships held from May 27 to 31 at Gumi Citizens’ Stadium, realizing real-time record processing for track and field competitions and automatic linkage with scoreboards and websites, and it is being evaluated as having proven the technological capability of domestic information systems for international competitions.
This competition was a large-scale international athletics event in which 43 Asian countries participated, and DJ Family, following the 20th Yecheon Asian U20 Athletics Championships in 2023, independently developed and operated international competition computer systems for the second time, creating successive success cases.
The integrated information system independently developed by DJ Family collects in real time the records of track events (100m, 200m, etc.) and field events (vertical jumps, horizontal jumps, throws), and immediately transmits them to the electronic scoreboards in the stadium and the official website.
The progress of the competition and the medal standings by country were also updated in real time, providing intuitive information to both athletes and spectators. To secure the stability and accuracy of the system, the company conducted multiple simulations and rehearsals before the competition, and during the competition operation period, it supported the competition without a single system error, receiving favorable reviews from participating countries and officials.
The integrated information system developed by this company is linked in real time with the homepage, allowing immediate confirmation of athletes’ competition progress and records. It also contains a document printing and management system necessary for athletics competition operation, such as competition result sheets, diplomas, and participation certificates, and includes an AD card issuance system that serves as an access card for athletes, delegations, and operating personnel, enabling a one-stop customized integrated competition operation system.
Meanwhile, ‘DJ Family’ was founded in 2015 as a one-person company, and now has grown to six employees. Including the CEO, all employees are young people in their 20s and 30s. Except for one from Mungyeong, all five are from Andong, presenting a model answer to the problems of regional extinction and talent outflow faced by Gyeongbuk Province and Andong.
