[MyDaily = Reporter Cheon Joo-young] The IT company DJ Family in Andong, Gyeongbuk, announced on the 12th that it had passed a “ultra-high intensity” security inspection by national agencies and had responded to actual cyberattacks.

The integrated information system for the 2025 Gumi Asian Athletics Championships, developed and operated by DJ Family, underwent regular inspections by the National Intelligence Service and the Cyber Security Center under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism during the preparation process for the competition.

This inspection included not only automated tool-based general security diagnostics but also manual penetration testing, in which security experts directly designed attack routes and attempted intrusions. This method simulates actual hacker attack procedures to identify system vulnerabilities, and it is a precise and high-level security audit procedure applied only to large-scale international events and major public infrastructure.

During the competition, a Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack was detected, and the system operations team completed a response within about five minutes of detection, with no disruption to the competition record services or IT operations. The response team consisted of just five people, yet stable operations and security monitoring were maintained with this small workforce.

In particular, DJ Family provided one-stop support from competition planning to server construction, operation, and maintenance at the 2nd National High School Cyber Security Competition (CTF) held in 2020 and also participated as a security evaluation committee member. The following year, the company participated again in the same competition, proving its skills and achievements in the field of security.

In addition, DJ Family has provided in-house security training, security inspections, and security consulting for various companies, contributing not only to the improvement of corporate security vulnerabilities but also to the enhancement of company-wide security awareness, and is recognized as a company with numerous achievements and case studies in the field of security.

A DJ Family representative stated, “With this achievement as momentum, we will continue to hire security specialists on a permanent basis and strengthen research into embedded security system design and real-time response frameworks required by public institutions and international events.
