The 2025 Asian Throwing Championships, held in Mokpo, Jeollanam-do from August 21 to 22, concluded successfully with athletes from across Asia competing in javelin, discus, shot put, and hammer throw. The event was operated using SportsXOS, the athletics competition information system developed by DJ Family, an IT company based in Andong, Gyeongbuk.

DJ Family supported key operational functions, including:

-Real-time entry of athletes’ records and database synchronization
-Automated ranking and medal tally processing
-Live output to broadcast scoreboards
-Issuance and management of official competition documents

A major highlight was the seamless delivery of Live Results, where athletes’ performances were instantly processed and displayed across scoreboards, broadcast feeds, and the online scoreboard. This allowed both on-site spectators and online viewers to follow the competition in real time, significantly enhancing engagement and convenience.

Such real-time scoreboard integration is recognized globally as a high-level technology achieved by only a few specialized companies. DJ Family successfully implemented this with a small team of just five people, earning strong praise from event officials. The official YouTube livestream also featured synchronized scoreboard and broadcast graphics, enabling audiences outside the venue to track the competition live.

Officials from the Korea Association of Athletics Federations (KAAF) remarked, “We were deeply impressed by the scoreboard’s readability and the seamless, uninterrupted competition operations.” This recognition extended beyond domestic officials to include the Asian Athletics Association (AA) technical delegates and the Secretary General, who requested direct meetings and expressed strong interest in the real-time data integration and stable performance of SportsXOS.

This achievement is viewed as a continuation of DJ Family’s expertise, built through its successful operation of the 20th Yecheon Asian U20 Athletics Championships (2024) and the 2025 Gumi Asian Athletics Championships. Notably, the live broadcasting of Live Results prior to the publication of official records was the first-ever case in Korea.
