DJ Family, an IT specialist firm headquartered in Andong, Gyeongbuk, announced on the 19th that it has won the Grand Prize (Best Excellence Award) in the IT Service sector at the ‘2025 Web Award Korea,’ the nation's most prestigious web evaluation ceremony. It was the only company from the Gyeongbuk province to receive this honor, demonstrating the potential of region-based IT companies.

Organized by the Korea Internet Professional Association (KIPFA), the ‘Web Award Korea’ is a major event where over 4,000 web experts select the most innovative websites of the year.

DJ Family submitted its entry in the ‘General Corporate IT Service Category’ and received high marks for its User Experience (UX) optimization and stable system architecture.

This achievement is particularly notable as it was driven by "local young talent."

Founded in 2015, DJ Family has grown with Andong, Gyeongbuk as its base. By actively hiring and training capable local youth as professional developers and planners, the company has broken the prejudice that "it is difficult to build a high-level IT career outside of Seoul." They have successfully proven their "De-Seoul" technical capabilities by executing major projects, including the Comprehensive Information Systems for the ▲2025 Gumi Asian Athletics Championships, ▲2025 Asian Throwing Championships, and ▲The 20th Yecheon Asian U20 Athletics Championships.

"This award demonstrates that passionate local youth can create global-level results even without being in the metropolitan area," said an official from DJ Family. "We will continue to grow as a representative IT anchor company in Gyeongbuk where excellent local talents can fully display their capabilities without leaving their hometown."

Meanwhile, DJ Family plans to further solidify its position as an integrated solution provider covering public, sports, and marketing sectors, led by its proprietary sports competition information system ‘SportsXOS,’ public cloud website builder ‘SiteXOS,’ and smart farm integrated management solution ‘FarmITda.’
